3. About Japan-Shoppy
Japan-Shoppy is an online retail store selling consumer goods sourced from Japan, including but not limited to packaged snacks and confectionery, anime merchandise, and accessories.
We do not sell alcohol, tobacco, or smoking-related products.
4. Account Registration
You may be required to create an account to place orders.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Product Information & Availability
We strive to display product descriptions, images, and pricing accurately. However:

6. Pricing, Currency & Tax
All prices are displayed in the currency shown on the Website
Consumption tax is applied only to orders shipped within Japan, where applicable
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fees and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
If a shipment is refused, returned, or undelivered due to the customer’s failure or refusal to pay applicable customs duties or import fees, the customer will be responsible for all associated costs, including:
Original shipping fees
Return shipping fees
Handling and processing fees
Any additional costs incurred will be deducted from any refundable amount, or charged to the customer where applicable.
7. Payments
We accept payments via:
Stripe (credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay, and other supported methods)
PayPal and Square.
Payment is required in full at the time of order.
All payment processing is handled securely by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card details.
*For payments at a convenience store (Inside Japan), a flat payment fee of 440 yen (tax included) will be charged.
8. Order Confirmation
An order is considered accepted once payment has been successfully processed and an order confirmation is issued. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud or inventory issues.
9. Shipping & Delivery
- Orders are shipped directly by Japan-Shoppy
- Orders are typically dispatched within 3 to 7 business days, subject to stock availability
- Delivery times may vary depending on destination and external factors
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, logistics providers, or events beyond our control.
10. Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of payment and before shipment.
Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.
11. Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of our products, returns and refunds are not accepted, except in the following cases:

Approved refunds will be issued either to the original payment method or as store credit, at our sole discretion, depending on the circumstances.
