Refunds & Returns Policy

This Refunds & Returns Policy applies to all purchases made through https://japan-shoppy.com and is operated by Chuto Kokusai Kogyo Co., Ltd.

By placing an order on our Website, you agree to this policy.


1. General Policy

Due to the nature of the products sold on Japan-Shoppy, all sales are final.

We do not accept returns or offer refunds except in the specific cases outlined below.


2. Eligible Cases for Refunds or Replacements

Refunds or replacements are considered only under the following circumstances:

  • The product received is defective

  • The product received is incorrect (wrong item sent)

Claims must be submitted within 5 business days of receiving the product.


3. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Food, snacks, and consumable products once delivered

  • Items damaged due to misuse, mishandling, or improper storage

  • Products returned without prior approval

  • Items reported outside the claim period


4. Claim Process

To request a refund or replacement, customers must:

  1. Contact us at support@japan-shoppy.com within the claim period

  2. Provide the order number and a clear description of the issue

  3. Submit supporting evidence (e.g. photos of the product and packaging)

Failure to follow this process may result in rejection of the claim.


5. Refund Method

If a refund is approved, it will be issued either:

  • To the original payment method, or As store credit

The refund method will be determined at our sole discretion, based on the circumstances.

Processing time for approved refunds may vary depending on the payment provider.


6. Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except where required by law

  • Return shipping costs (if applicable) will be determined on a case-by-case basis

Shipping fees related to refused or returned international shipments due to unpaid customs duties are the responsibility of the customer.

For international shipments, customs duties, import taxes, and other fees imposed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fees.

If an order is refused, returned, or undelivered due to the customer’s failure or refusal to pay applicable customs duties or import fees, the customer will be responsible for all related costs, including:

Original shipping fees, Return shipping fees, Handling and processing fees.

Any such costs will be deducted from any refundable amount, or charged to the customer where applicable.

Delays caused by customs clearance or local authorities do not qualify for refunds.


7. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of payment and before shipment.

Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.


8. International Orders

For international shipments:

  • Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the customer

  • Delays caused by customs or local authorities do not qualify for refunds

  • We are not responsible for refused or unclaimed shipments due to local regulations


9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with refunds or returns is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order.


10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refunds & Returns Policy at any time.
Changes become effective once posted on the Website.
